The Wang Tsing Academy (WTA) is the largest school organization in the Wang Tsing City. Our school and comprehensive program of extra-curricular activities bring out the best in every student through a personalized approach to learning and by inspiring curious minds.

We accept applicants from different countries and nationalities, including SARs and Special Areas. However, parents MUST hold a valid CNKR visa to apply for a place for their children.

We welcome applicants with English as a second language and/or those in need of ESL courses. However, all applicants are required to meet a high standard of academic excellence and must undergo a rigorous selection process, which includes a formal interview and a comprehensive academic assessment.

  • Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic performance in their previous educational institutions. The school requires recent transcripts, standardized test scores (if applicable), and recommendations from prior teachers. Only candidates with consistently high grades will be considered.

  • As an international school with a high academic standard, applicants must have strong proficiency in English. Non-native speakers are welcome, but they must meet the minimum language proficiency levels, as assessed through our internal English proficiency test or equivalent international testing systems (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).

  • All applicants must attend a formal, in-depth interview with our admissions team. The interview will assess not only the applicant’s academic abilities but also their interpersonal skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.   • Parents must hold a valid CNKR visa for their own stay. The visa status of the parents will be verified during the application process. The family must also demonstrate financial stability and be able to support the cost of education.

Additionally, the applicant must provide letters of recommendation from previous teachers or principals.

  • After initial review, selected applicants will be invited to a formal interview, which will include a series of academic and personal questions. Applicants may also be required to complete written assessments or problem-solving tasks during the interview. These are designed to evaluate the applicant’s intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and overall suitability for our rigorous academic program.

  • After the interview, the admissions team will review the applications comprehensively. Successful applicants will receive an offer letter, and they must confirm their acceptance within the stipulated timeframe. Only a limited number of students will be admitted each year, ensuring that the quality of education is maintained.

• The tuition fees for the school are in line with international standards for top-tier institutions. Parents will be required to pay the full tuition upfront, or according to the school’s payment schedule. Payment options and deadlines will be clearly outlined in the acceptance package.
