If you are a citizen from the following countries/territories, you only need a CNKR ID Card with the "PR" characters to naturalise and become a citizen of CNKR:
The People's Republic of Ching Loong, PRCL.
The Public of Nolan, PONL.
The Private of Markiufu, MARK.
Lougo Area, SOLG.
European Union, EFTA, or NB8 countries.
Australia, AU.
Cyprus (Republic of), CY.
Canada, CA.
Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. (Only Permanent Residents from HK or MO, or Taiwan nationals with household registration.)
Japan, JP.
Malaysia, MY.
New Zealand, NZ.
Republic of Singapore, SG.
State of Palestine, PS.
Qatar, QA.
South Africa, ZA.
United Kingdom, UK.
United States, US.

Suppose if you are a citizen from the following countries/territories, you need a recommendation letter signed by your supervisor and the mayor of your city to naturalise in CNKR and cancel all certificates, travel documents and rights issued by your original regime/authorities:
South Korea Area, ROSK.
Shenzhen Area, UNSZ.
Hong Kong Area, UNHK.
If you are a citizen from the following countries/territories, you are not allowed or have restrictions on residing in the CNKR:
People's Republic of China (the Chengdu Government), has residency restrictions, UNLESS the applicant has taken the "Moral Examination" and rated 90/100 or above.
Russian Federation.
Republic of Cuba.
Republic of Belarus.
Republic of Yemen.
Applicants must have legally resided in the CNKR Mainland Area for a continuous period, typically around seven years, establishing the CNKR Mainland Area as their permanent home. The residence should be lawful and uninterrupted to qualify for permanent residency.
The applicant must submit a formal application to the designated departments or offices (locations will be shared below). Required documents generally include:
A valid foreign passport, excluding the travel documents issued by the SAR governments.
A valid CNKR Education Visa, Official Visa, Political Asylum Visa, and other visas with a valid working permit.
A valid CNKR ID Card, without the "C", "P", "L", and "CR" symbols on the ID Card.
A medical examination record issued by the 中华国民医院 in Wang Tsing City within 1 month.
A criminal record certificate from the Public Security Bureau of CNKR and the applicant’s country of origin.
A verified residence address that belongs to or is owned by the applicant or their legal guardian(s).
Spouses and dependent children of CNKR citizens or permanent residents may apply with supporting marital, family, and residence documents.
Upon approval, the municipal government will send an "CNKR ID Card Renewal Notice" to the residential address submitted by the applicant. The applicant can then use the notice and their ID card to collect a new ID card at the Public Security Bureau of the Wang Tsing City.
