You can use the form when you apply for a Foreigner's ID Card.

You do not have to apply for a Foreigner's ID Card if;

• You are below the age of 11, unless you are a stateless person and need to apply for a travel document.

• You are only visiting the People's Republic of Chinese Korea for short-period sightseeing reasons (less than 180 days), and;

• You have been verified as aged, the blind and the infirm who have been exempted from registering for an identity card by the verified medical staff.

You must apply for a Foreigner's ID Card if;

• You have to stay in the People's Republic of Chinese Korea for over 180 days, and you have reached the age of 11, and;

• You are a stateless person with no valid travel documents and need to apply for one, regardless of your age or ability.

You can use the form when you apply for a Diplomat's ID Card.

You cannot apply for a Diplomat's ID Card if;

• You are a citizen of the CNKR.

• You are an official of the Shenzhen Area or the Hong Kong Area.

• You are an official of a sovereign state that the CNKR government has not yet recognised, unless you are a representative of the South Korea Area or the Lougo Area.

• You are not a diplomat, or;

• The regime in your country has been overthrown, and the CNKR government has severed all diplomatic relations with the former regime.

You can only apply for a Diplomat's ID Card if;

• You are an official or a diplomat with verified documents issued by your home country, regime, or a sovereign state, and the CNKR government has recognised your international status.
